Antonin Dvorak wrote two series of Slavonic Dances (op. 46 and 72) for piano duet. These works have always been extremely popular in their original form and in the orchestral transcriptions, done by Dvorak himself shortly after their publication as piano pieces. Originally conceived as a flute choir arrangement, the lower piano part (typically playing oom-pah accompaniment figures), did not lend itself to creating interesting parts for the alto and bass flutes. Thus, this edition solves that problem by incorporating a piano and allowing the flutes to do what they were meant to do - dazzle with their virtuosity, precision articulations and long beautiful phrases.

For other non-instrument merchandise, request return authorization or make an in-person return within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. Items must be unused, undamaged, in their original packaging with all contents, and accompanied by the original receipt or invoice. Electronic media must be unopened.
Shipped returns require prior authorization. Return Authorizations (RAs) are valid for 10 calendar days from issue. The RA number must appear on the package, and the return must arrive within that period.
Defective merchandise may be exchanged for an identical item if requested within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. After that period, contact the manufacturer. Please contact us promptly about fulfillment errors.
