Vodnik (Themes from the Water Goblin)
Dvorak, A
Antonin Dvorak’s symphonic poem Vodnik (The Water Goblin) was inspired by a poem penned by 19th century Czech poet Karel Jaromir Erben and consists of seven themes, representing characters in the poem. This flute choir arrangement by Linda Kirkpatrick includes four of the themes, opening with the theme of the title character, the water goblin, and closing with the theme representing the misery of the underworld.
