Eyerly, S :: Field Passage
Scott Eyerly presents Field Passage for flute and piano.
Composed under the spell of the prairie at Ragdale, the artists colony in Illinois, Field Passage is an extended single-movement work drenched in 21st Century American harmonic and melodic writing. With rich, wandering melodies that extend across pages, clever dance-moments and fragments scattered throughout, and constant textural changes, Field Passage is a gripping recital work that charms as much as it slyly gives the players a workout.
Duration: 11'. For advanced players.
