Wedding Day at Troldhaugen was written for solo piano by Edvard Grieg as a special present to his wife, in honor of their 25th wedding anniversary. Falls House Press presents a lovely new arrangement for flute choir by Claudia Bissett that was commissioned by Dr. David Deifik, a member of the Nashua Flute Choir, for his daughter's wedding in 2008. Beginning with a theme that evokes a village wedding procession, the piece slips into a gentle, romantic feeling before returning to the main theme. For advanced players.
