From the composer:
'Mimo is a piece dedicated to my wife. It is a piece where the sensual dimension is explored expressively and the duality between pitch and noise is explored as a way of organizing the musical material. The piece evolves to a short improvisatory section that can be extended by the performer at will, functioning almost like a cadenza in the piece. Don't be afraid to explore the noisy moments in high registers. Just enjoy.
