This piece contains two movements that can be played either as a transverse flute duet or as a trio with two flutes and piano. The chord symbols included in the piano part provide further alternatives for an accompaniment with guitar, accordion or other keyboard instruments. The first movement, Crazy Rag, like all ragtimes, should not be played too fast, but with precise rhythm, and particular attention to articulation. The second movement, Let's Swing, is an adaptation of the composer's flute choir piece of the same name.
