American composer Howard Hanson, born to Swedish immigrants in Nebraska, was one of the leaders of American Romanticism in classical composition. Clog Dance, originally written for piano, is a tribute to his Swedish heritage with its lively rhythms depicting the stomping of wooden shoes on hard floors. Falls House Press presents a beautiful new arrangement of this piece for flute choir, by National Flute Association Newly Published Music Competitions winner and teacher Ann Cameron Pearce.
