'The pieces in this volume, some of which are particularly significant, are extremely appealing and at the same time simple. These are not merely educational . Most of the pieces were quite successful as solo pieces and have been collected here for their individual, purely musical strengths. However, the book is more than just a collection of performable pieces, but rather those that give the player the ability to consolidate and build up their ability due to the varying degree of difficulty and versatility.
