David Philip Hefti presents Modules for flute solo.
Modules was composed in 2013 to a commission from the flautist Isabelle Schnoller, to whom it is also dedicated.
The various modules of this composition were modified moderately until the present model of a modern modality resulted. In order to understand these programme notes, as they are today a la mode, one would most likely need a moderator.
