Barbara Heller presents La Palmera, a duo for alto flutist doubling concert flute and piano.
Almost a solo piece for flute and alto-flute with piano accompaniment which assists in lining out the shape. Calm poetic sections are followed by such of fast rhythmic motion where motives sometimes tend to a popular tone. The sound is colorful, the structure somewhat minimalistic.
