Victor Herbert was an American composer of operettas that grew to be known as 'musical comedies . Orange Blossom' was one of these, composed in 1914.
Victor Herbert (1859-1924) was a composer of countless operettas and musicals, a celebrated conductor and virtuoso cellist. He played in the Metropolitan Opera orchestra, conducted the Pittsburgh Symphony, co-founded ASCAP. His own Victor Herbert Orchestra was a huge draw on national tours. - John Ostendorf
