Hoffmeister, FA :: Sechs Duos op. 16 [Six Duos op. 16]
Zimmermann presents Sechs Duos op. 16 [Six Duos op. 16] for two flutes by Franz Hoffmeister. Born in 1754, Hoffmeister was an incredibly prolific flute composer with an output of 24 concertos and roughly 130 works for two flutes. The six multi-movement duets in this collection contain great contrasts of lyrical and technical patterns for developing players. These duos are fitting for intermediate level flutists and are great resources for sight-reading.
