Musicians Publications presents Nashville Salute based on the Nashville Cannonball and other Nashville Friends and dedicated to the National Flute Association s 2004 Flute Orchestra in which Kathy Borst-Jones was the conductor. For flute choir plus, this arrangement is scored for 4 C flutes, alto flute, and bass flute with an optional bass clarinet part to substitute for the bass flute and optional parts for contra bass flute or string bass, as well as an optional drum set part which would be a lively addition when available. The many different performing possibilities available to this work make it the perfect piece for any gigging ensemble!
