The three movements of Jeffrey Hoover's Summer s Light depict a landscape of light over a 24 hour period of time:
I. Solaris of the Sun, the light of the late afternoon and the setting sun
II. Lunaris of the Moon, a shadowy exotic landscape of the night
III. Incendo blazing, the brilliant light and searing heat of the next day.
Duration: 11'. Instrumentation: Flute, marimba (5-octave)
