Iorio, M :: The Arrival Suite
The Arrival Suite
Iorio, M
Michael Iorio's The Arrival Suite uses ambitious themes and uncertain harmony to depict the expectation of mysterious revelation found within the discovery of the unknown. 'Fantasy' features a grand motive that connects adventure with exploration. 'Nocturne' employs unstable harmony to express the limitations and variability of a discovery. Finally, 'Dance and Presto' juggles the ideals of collaboration and conflict.
Duration: 8'. Instrumentation Flute, marimba (5-octave).
