Originally scored for flute and orchestra, a new pedagogical concept inspired this arrangement for two flutes. It is better to have a rhythmic and harmonic context while learning a solo part. With the current arrangement, a flutist may enjoy working on the piece with a friend, learning good ensemble playing as well as having a complete contextual conception of the work.
