Leon writes about this piece, ''Journey' was inspired by all three members of the Jubal Trio and is based on a text written for them by Etel Adnan, an American poet, writer, and painter born in Beirut. The work reflects movements and contrasts in moods, and is dedicated to Julius Eastman and Talib Rasul Hakim.'
