Lombardo writes about this piece, 'The Comedians' Gallop' is an extremely spirited and lively composition. The marking of presto can be considered a minimum tempo while this arrangement can actually be played almost as fast as possible. This piece works great as a quartet! The use of the optional 5th part for a C or bass flute will further enhance the arrangement and makes this work usable with a full flute choir.
