Arranged for flute choir, this programmatic work has been a longtime favorite of classical music lovers. Synopsis: The camel-drivers gradually approach the market; the cries of beggars for Bak-shees are heard amid the bustle. The beautiful princess enters carried by her servants. She is represented by a languorous theme, given at first to the high flutes, and later to the alto and bass flutes. She stays to watch the jugglers and snake-charmer. The Caliph now passes through the market and interrupts the entertainment. The beggars are heard again, the princess prepares to depart, and the caravan resumes its journey. The themes of the princess and the camel-drivers are heard faintly in the distance and the market-place becomes deserted.

Sheet music, instrument purchases, and Special Order Only (SOO) merchandise are non-returnable.
For other non-instrument merchandise, request return authorization or make an in-person return within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. Items must be unused, undamaged, in their original packaging with all contents, and accompanied by the original receipt or invoice. Electronic media must be unopened.
Shipped returns require prior authorization. Return Authorizations (RAs) are valid for 10 calendar days from issue. The RA number must appear on the package, and the return must arrive within that period.
Defective merchandise may be exchanged for an identical item if requested within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. After that period, contact the manufacturer. Please contact us promptly about fulfillment errors.
