Erwin Koch-Raphael presents grenzZeit I, for bass flute solo.
Koch-Raphael's pieces are neither created nor understood as purely musical products; they are the result of a holistic way of thinking. grenzZeit I rests on the edge of perception; some moments sound cold, others chunky, uneasily and unsteady. On the other hand, there are sections of holy calm or enigmatic expressions; sometimes one hears nervous pulses and flickering sounds, percussive and strange, before a return to the whisper-silence.
