An innovative work for low flute ensemble, The Terrible Tubes Take Over the Town was premiered at the 2018 National Flute Association convention in Orlando, Florida. 'Eyewitness reports are pouring in from all over the Tristate Area, as panicked citizens flee to the hills. Although no one can agree if they're in G or C, one thing is for certain they're Ginormous! The only resistance they've met is from the Piccolos...stay tuned as the story unfolds. Film at 11!'
Instrumentation: 3 alto flutes, 2 bass flutes, contralto flute (in g), contrabass flute, sub-contralto flute (in g), sub-contrabass flute.
