During a period of intense research work on Byzantine church music, while also working on her music improvisations entitled Music of Sound, Ljubica Maric composed this rhapsodic piece for solo flute, which contains characteristics from both of these domains: it is the result of an inspired improvisation and comprises some fragments of the ancient melodies of the Octoechos.
