McLearnon presents 'Deep Dish' for flute ensemble by composer Gareth McLearnon.
This piece utilises four 'extended techniques' that are generally outside of the remit for flute performance: Spoken Text, Acting, Explosive Articulation, and Fall-offs. For the performer's convenience, the composer has recorded video demonstrations of many of these techniques, which are available on his YouTube channel.
