ALRY Publications presents 'Chrysalis' for flute choir by Catherine McMichael.
This Catherine McMichael piece has a soft and shifting tonal landscape throughout its progression. The title of the work Chrysalis encapsulates the metamorphic growth, change, and development of the students at the summer festival for which this piece was commissioned. The piece contains two movements: I. Evolving, and II. Unfurling, and is scored for 4 C flutes, alto flute, and bass flute. Written for intermediate players; includes score and parts.
