ALRY Publications presents 'Leland Blues' for flute choir by composer Catherine McMichael.
The composer writes about this piece, 'The Leland Lake Superior Iron Company smelted iron in blast furnaces in the northern Great Lakes region from 1870 until it went bankrupt in 1885. At that time, they dumped the remaining molten material into Lake Michigan. The rapid cooling in the lake waters created a substance like volcanic glass, resulting in a vibrant blue obsidian type stone. These days treasure hunters comb the beaches of Michigan’s Leelanau Peninsula near the town of Leland for the coveted Leland Blue pebbles. This is the only place in the world that these stones can be found.'

For other non-instrument merchandise, request return authorization or make an in-person return within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. Items must be unused, undamaged, in their original packaging with all contents, and accompanied by the original receipt or invoice. Electronic media must be unopened.
Shipped returns require prior authorization. Return Authorizations (RAs) are valid for 10 calendar days from issue. The RA number must appear on the package, and the return must arrive within that period.
Defective merchandise may be exchanged for an identical item if requested within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. After that period, contact the manufacturer. Please contact us promptly about fulfillment errors.
