The composer writes, '50 years of continuous music making…that's where the title comes from: The Sweetness of Time Together. It's on the gentle side, although there is a lively middle section. Mary Anderson was my friend for many, many years, and I kept her sunny presence in front of me as I wrote this. I hope her radiant personality comes through in this piece.'
