Like their watery, shape-shifting sisters the Selkies, Sirens come from ancient legends that explore the fantastical world of mythological sea creatures. Sirens are treacherous. Throughout history they have been a powerful symbol of temptation and desire that leads the soul astray. In this work you will hear them singing, their strange, sinister voices both shrill and sensuously chromatic, shimmering with promises. Listen- as they weave their seductive magic you will hear them laughing beneath the waves as they attempt to draw you in."
