Miura, H :: Lights for Flute Trio
Brain Music presents 'Lights' for Flute Trio by Hideaki Miura.
The composer writes about this piece, 'Lights' is a piece inspired by the many kinds of light that illuminate our planet. This piece has three movements. The first movement 'Twilight' portrays the soft, gentle light that begins to seep in from beyond the distant sky just before sunrise on a crisp, cold morning. The second movement 'Daylight' depicts the brisk and vivid sunlight that shines on a lively city - on buildings, homes, and even the trees that line the streets. The final movement 'Starlight' captures a late-night sky where the sun has long set, and stars twinkle or occasionally streak across the heavens.'
