ALRY Publications presents 'Borealis' fore flute choir by Alexandra Molnar-Suhajda.
Borealis by Alexandra Molnar-Suhajda, was commissioned by Debbie Gilbert for the Flute Society of Washington High School Flute Choir and was premiered at the 2020 Mid-Atlantic Flute Convention in Herndon, Virginia. Composed in two sections, the calm opening is marked 'placidamente' followed by a fast section with soaring melodies over acrisp, staccato accompaniment.
Instrumentation: Piccolo, 4 flutes, alto flute, bass flute.
