Billaudot Editions presents composer Elise Bertrand's 'Monochromes, Op. 23' for flute and piano. Monochromes comes from the composer's interest in color, associated since her childhood with light. Light becoming musical light. The different sensations that the colors evoke are transposed into three varied color-atmospheres, each movement being surrounded by its own light and texture.
