Joe W. Moore III's Constellations is a contemporary set of four works for alto flute and marimba. Each work is titled after a constellation in our galaxy Orion, Gemini, Leo, and Pisces. each representing both the astronomical and mythological characters. The pieces may be played in any combination and in any order.
Instrumentation: Alto flute, marimba (5-octave).
