Jean-Pierre Rampal presents Mozart's two smaller works for flute and orchestra, here in a reduction for flute and piano: Andante in C Major, K. 315 and Rondo in D Major K. Anh. 184.
The 'Andante in C for Flute and Orchestra', K. 315/285e was written by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in 1778 and commissioned by Ferdinand De Jean as a possible replacement or alternative second movement for the Flute Concerto No. 1 in G major (K. 313). Supposedly, the commissioner of the K. 313 concerto, De Jean, disliked the original Adagio and had Mozart compose the shorter Andante to replace it; however, it is also speculated the Andante may have been part of the third flute concerto Mozart was commissioned to write for De Jean but never completed.

For other non-instrument merchandise, request return authorization or make an in-person return within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. Items must be unused, undamaged, in their original packaging with all contents, and accompanied by the original receipt or invoice. Electronic media must be unopened.
Shipped returns require prior authorization. Return Authorizations (RAs) are valid for 10 calendar days from issue. The RA number must appear on the package, and the return must arrive within that period.
Defective merchandise may be exchanged for an identical item if requested within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. After that period, contact the manufacturer. Please contact us promptly about fulfillment errors.
