Mark Popkin presents the Mozart K. 458 arranged for woodwind quintet. One of the six 'Haydn' quartets, subtitled 'The Hunt' as suggested by its jolly, bouncing 6/8 rhythm of the opening subject. This happy mood is sustained through most of the work with the exception of the intensely dramatic slow movement.
