Necklace - Song Flute with Pearl
The exquisitely-detailed lip plates of Song headjoints, often embedded with gemstones or intricate engravings, reveal Y. C. Song's beginnings in jewelry making - a skill he still employs for select special items.
This necklace, created by Song, is made of sterling silver and features a small flute curved into a circle pendant. Clear rhinestones are set on the keys of the body, and ruby, turquoise, amethyst, or sapphire colored rhinestones set on the footjoint. The flute is attached to a thin silver chain. This delicate necklace may be paired with the Song Flute Ring, similarly constructed.
