Zen-On Music presents "Himitu (Frozen Honey)' for flute solo by composer Akira Nishimura.
The composer writes, ''I wrote this piece for solo flute, which has hard, brilliant sound and which I used to resemble a bar-shaped honey made by kneading. The honey is melted by blowing into or onto in various ways, and different types of sound images come into being from the bar, which is a parent of the sound.''
