Vivienne Olive presents When the wind is high, for alto flute alone.
When the wind is high was inspired by a wooden sculpture by the British artist Angela Godfrey in Brixworth Country Park, England. Vivienne Olive often goes for walks there and likes to stand in front the sculpture and view the lake nearby. The piece is dedicated to the flautist Carla Rees.
