Flute crowns, in recent years, have experienced a new focus as their influence on the flute sound has become more evident. The crown isn't always just for show; it can alter the resonance, the resistance, and how the flute feels in your hands through its weight and heft.
Our crowns are designed to fit most concert flutes, up to the highest professional levels. The length of the screw in your flute's cork assembly can also be altered, if necessary, to ensure a perfect fit.
The crowns here are set with faceted gems - that is, small gemstones cut and finished. Each gem is set in a crown of sterling silver or 14k gold, and sterling silver crowns may have the outer setting ring cast in 14k gold, if requested. Additionally, we offer a Mokume crown, which is a layered mixed-silver and gold crown without a gem. We keep most options in stock, but as these crowns are individually hand-crafted we do occasionally have a short wait time.

We do not accept returns or exchanges for accessories like cases, bags, tone enhancers, or cleaning supplies. If an item is defective, you may exchange it for the same product within 10 days of purchase, as long as it's unused and in its original packaging.
