Amadeus presents 'Solfeggi' by Johann Joachim Quantz.
The 'Solfeggi' are not a composition in the usual sense but the record, which has happened to survive, of the lessons given by a flute teacher. This teacher, no doubt J. J. Quantz, used to write down, as homework or memos, exercises and passages dealing with particular musical or technical problems, often adding directions on for playing them.
