Le Carnaval Hongroise op. 65

Rabboni, G

Revised by Jean-Louis Beaumadier, Guiseppe Rabboni’s Le Carnaval Hongrois is a beautifully flowing, yet technically demanding concert showpiece. The opening Adagio has characteristics of an aria, flowing throughout a large range of the flute. The next section, Allegro is a solo piano interlude, in preparation for a delightful theme and variations. The Coda closes this piece with virtuosic fanfare. Le Carnaval Hongrois is approximately eight minutes in length. Guiseppe Rabboni was a prolific composer and flutist.
