This adaptation of Ravel's Sonatine is part of Falls House Press's Voyage Unlimited series, a collection of transcriptions for flute and string quartet or string trio. It was first premiered in August of 1999 at the National Flute Association Convention in Atlanta by Don Bailey, flute, and members of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Their New York premiere took place in October of 2008 by Don Bailey with the Attacca Quartet. Voyage Unlimited is a New York nonprofit organization committed to the performance, recording, and publication of new and standard chamber music, headed by native Mississippi flutist and teacher Don Bailey. Bailey recorded many transcriptions in the Voyage Unlimited series for Summit, which have garnered critical acclaim and worldwide airplay,but they have not previously been available for public performance. Orchestrated by the esteemed Polish pianist Adam Manijak, Bailey's inspired series has helped create an exciting chapter in repertoire for flute and string ensembles.

Sheet music, instrument purchases, and Special Order Only (SOO) merchandise are non-returnable.
For other non-instrument merchandise, request return authorization or make an in-person return within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. Items must be unused, undamaged, in their original packaging with all contents, and accompanied by the original receipt or invoice. Electronic media must be unopened.
Shipped returns require prior authorization. Return Authorizations (RAs) are valid for 10 calendar days from issue. The RA number must appear on the package, and the return must arrive within that period.
Defective merchandise may be exchanged for an identical item if requested within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. After that period, contact the manufacturer. Please contact us promptly about fulfillment errors.
