Lisa Neher presents 'Reach Out' for solo flute.
Program Note by the composer: 'Reach Out' is about yearning for human connection. It is about the need to be heard, to be seen, to be touched, to be understood. Large ascending leaps in the melody present that longing, and expressive arpeggios and up and down paint a picture of waves of emotion, surges of happiness, grief, anxiety, and relief. We need one another. Reach Out. 'Reach Out' was written for and premiered by Rayo Furuta in 2020 as part of the Gabriela Lena Frank Creative Academy of Music's 3GLFCAMGigThruCovid initiative, a project to support performers struggling with income loss due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is the winner of the 2022 Flute New Music Consortium Composition Competition. Rose Bishop's performance of the work was released on the EP 'Of Winds and Waves' in 2021 and on her debut album 'Diversions' in 2022 through OddPop Records.

Sheet music, instrument purchases, and Special Order Only (SOO) merchandise are non-returnable.
For other non-instrument merchandise, request return authorization or make an in-person return within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. Items must be unused, undamaged, in their original packaging with all contents, and accompanied by the original receipt or invoice. Electronic media must be unopened.
Shipped returns require prior authorization. Return Authorizations (RAs) are valid for 10 calendar days from issue. The RA number must appear on the package, and the return must arrive within that period.
Defective merchandise may be exchanged for an identical item if requested within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. After that period, contact the manufacturer. Please contact us promptly about fulfillment errors.
