A Skeleton in the Closet, for flute, oboe, and piano, is a remarkably playful entry into the repertoire from Andre M. Santos. Despite the name, the music itself is more reminiscent of gentle jazz and vivid textures of Portugal than a Danse Macabre, especially with the shifting time signatures and melodic interplay between instruments.
