A set of eight variations on the well-known Rag Time Two Step by Scott Joplin, The Entertainer. It was conceived as an entertaining show piece - a humorous and light-hearted diversion exploiting the virtuosity of the soloist. Originally for flute and chamber orchestra, this version has been reduced for flute and piano by the composer.
