Gary Schocker's Spelunking is an expedition for two flutes. The first movement is titled 'Scaling,' and it suggests the upward and downward scaling of caves, along with a surprise or two. The second movement, 'Fool's Gold,' is developed from musical ideas in the first movement, and the 'Bearing Treasure' of movement three is the reward the light at the end of the tunnel. For advanced flutists.
