'Wait a minute - I know that piece ...!' If that's the impression you have when you first hear this, we'll be very pleased! That's because what we want to do with this collection is to invite students and teachers on a journey to their musical memories and ideas.
Emotive playbacks present a wonderful opportunity to encourage students to play music themselves. Practicing at home can thus be intensified, party pieces for visiting grandparents can be played with background music, and, alternatively, the CD can serve as a source of inspiration for duos with a piano partner.
The pieces offer a wide range of possibilities for interpretation. Depending on the player's level of proficiency, the focus can be placed upon sound, dynamics, articulation or phrasing.
