Tetractys Publishing presents 'Exit I.D.' for contrabass flute by composer Lukas Schulze.
Exit I.D. was written in 2011 for the excellent flutist and low-flute specialist Marion Garver. While written specifically with the lower flutes, contrabass, sub contra, etc, in mind, the piece can easily be performed on the bass or alto flute. While micing and amplification are not necessarily required, this is generally preferable performers may experiment with mic location in order to bring out the sonic details of the key-clicks and articulations in a larger performance space.
