This piece is a three movement concert work by Connecticut composer Thomas Schuttenhelm, an accomplished guitarist. About the work, Falls House Press says, 'Each movement explores an aspect of memory and uses it to drive the musical argument of the composition. The first movement, Moderato, is in ABA form. The second movement, Mysterioso, is in rondo form. The timbre of the guitar changes with each return, adding a distinct sound to each appearance: first pizzicato, then normal, and ending with a tamboura-violente. If the second movement represents the dynamic climax of the piece, the third and final movement is a release from all the tensions of the previous two. The guitar has an elegant, almost sentimental tremolo solo line while the flute gently plays its haunting melody. It has a certain nostalgic quality to it, as it recalls some of the themes heard in the first two movements, and floats above the guitar with Ivesian reverence.'

For other non-instrument merchandise, request return authorization or make an in-person return within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. Items must be unused, undamaged, in their original packaging with all contents, and accompanied by the original receipt or invoice. Electronic media must be unopened.
Shipped returns require prior authorization. Return Authorizations (RAs) are valid for 10 calendar days from issue. The RA number must appear on the package, and the return must arrive within that period.
Defective merchandise may be exchanged for an identical item if requested within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. After that period, contact the manufacturer. Please contact us promptly about fulfillment errors.
