Elliott Schwartz's Travelogue is scored for flute (doubling alto flute/piccolo) and string bass, and is so named because it draws its materials from a variety of folk and/or popular music sources associated with geographic locations of special importance to the dedicatees. These locations include New England, Las Chaparreras, the Advance Australia Fair, Poland, and a California Medley.
