A concert work by Peter Senchuk for flute choir inspired by the vastness of space as seen through a child's eyes.
The piece is divided into two distinct sections. The opening begins with subdued chords that build as the section develops, and uses harmonic language that is mainly triadic in nature, eluding to a child's simplistic view of space. This section portrays the awe a child (or anyone) feels the first time they look into the sky away from the city lights and observe the wondrous sight of the blanket of stars in the sky. The second section features an ostinato that forms the foundation from which energetic melodic ideas are allowed to float upon. It is quick and lively in nature and depicts a child's daydream of flying through outer space past distant stars and planets.

Sheet music, instrument purchases, and Special Order Only (SOO) merchandise are non-returnable.
For other non-instrument merchandise, request return authorization or make an in-person return within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. Items must be unused, undamaged, in their original packaging with all contents, and accompanied by the original receipt or invoice. Electronic media must be unopened.
Shipped returns require prior authorization. Return Authorizations (RAs) are valid for 10 calendar days from issue. The RA number must appear on the package, and the return must arrive within that period.
Defective merchandise may be exchanged for an identical item if requested within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. After that period, contact the manufacturer. Please contact us promptly about fulfillment errors.
