Yevhen Stankovich's Un Tout (loosely translated as 'all whole') is powerful music for the flute, with strong, dynamic accompanying surges. Composed in an almost post romantic style, Un Tout challenges the flute in the middle with an expressive and dramatic dialogue with the orchestra, concluding in a peaceful, deceptive calm. Thick melodies emphasize Stravinsky-esque harmony and driving rhythms.
